This is the house i lived at when i woke up to the death threats on my door – i met Marty Greenheldge here – the owner claimed to have a Mafia brother or brother-in-law in Hamilton area – on the door was the words your dead and a rose was in front of the door – in the bathroom was the words “ we are coming to get you soon sucker” the walls had red paint splattered on them to look like blood – it was a rooming house when i moved in – the owner converted it to a semi-retirement home – i recall one night the police attended to a noise complaint – a guy in the front room fell asleep – he was sitting in a rocking chair with a gun – they tried to wake him and eventually had to go down to the basement to turn off the power – i had a complication the first week with the landlord and called him a “cock sucker” – it upset him greatly –
