*** ATTENTION ROBERT H. PEELING CHIEF OF POLICE ***
DEAR SIR ;
RE ; YOUR COMMUNICATIONS RECEIVED
I have received four communications from your service, that have been addressed to the wrong address, that being …….
124 Ontario Street
Brantford, Ontario
Canada, N3S-2C4
I have never resided at the above noted address and I can not come to solution as to where you came upon this address ; one idea has come to mind and that is your service observing me comming from this building back in February 99 ; my mother has friend in that building, but I don’t live there.
Your service received written notice of my address on 01 February 99, via your member # 157, who signed for that notice at your sub station, downtown.
I have had your service attend to my address at your request to take a report of stolen property after I sent you a letter reguarding the same.
I will advise you again that my residency address at this time is as follows….
40 Bishop Street
Brantford, Ontario
Canada, N3S-1M1
519-754-4032

I will advise you / your service of any change of residential address in writting if I move.
I do use my motrhers address as a mailing address for much of my mail for various reasons, that being
22-119 Gladstone Avenue
Brantford, Ontario
Canada, N3S-1N9
I would like to express concern to two pieces of mail that I received from your service 01 March 99.
These two letters came in a brown envelope, after being placed in this brown envelope by someone at your service, but the two letters in that brown envelope had been opened. I am unable to determine if they were opened by someone at the Ontario Street address where they had been originally sent, prior to being returned to your service, or by someone at your service.
In the province of British Columbia I had a complication with my mail while I resided in Port Coquitlam (RCMP file # 94CQ43015), that led to someone making contact with Surrey RCMP to discuss my affairs with them. That letter also had been received opened.
This letter that I make refrence to was in connection with my assistance to the RCMP. It need not be explained the concerns this caused me.
As I indicated I received four letters from you / your service that were addressed to Ontario Street, but only two of them were received opened, but had been placed in a larger brown envelope.
Please direct more concern to my mail in the future.
THANKYOU!
RESPECTFULLY;
R. SHAWN A. CANTLON
