A Brantford man faces a number of charges after a disturbance on Ontario Street near Gladstone Avenue shortly after 8:00 p.m. Thursday. When police arrived at the scene, they were told by two men that a third man, who was walking away from the scene, had threatened them with a knife. They said they had confronted him after he had been making comments to two women in the area. The man had lunged at the two men while brandishing a knife, police said. The man was found and arrested while the weapon that was used was found a short distance away. No one was injured during the incident, police said.
